ACCOUNT CREATION IS TEMPORARILY LOCKED DOWN
Way too many spam accounts were being created. If you want an account, contact me on RT.
The Rooster Teeth Site Extender (RTSE) is a Firefox add-on for the Rooster Teeth family of websites. It adds many features to the site, and can make navigation much easier.
RTSE is currently compatible with Firefox versions 4.0 and up.
You can grab the most recent version of RTSE right here.
The most recent build of RTSE to support Firefox 3.6 is located here, if you need it for whatever reason.
Current RTSE Features:
Advanced Text Editor (ATE) makes post/reply creation a snap.
The ATE has an option to add the ability to auto-post user-specified text.
Comment Redirects for user comments and various blog threads on the site.
Adds a customizable extra tab to the site's navigation menu.
Additional links in the userInfo (top-right corner) section of the site.
Forum Jumplist to easily reach any forum on the site.
Page jump utility to reach any page in a thread or journal quickly.
Ability to hide the ad-banner and the sidebar throughout the site.
RTSE Features currently under active development:
Hide Homepage Elements - Only show sections of your user homepage that you want to see.
Watchlist and Alerts on Every Page - RTSE will pull a copy of your watchlist from your homepage, and then adds it to every other page on the site.
Planned or Suggested Features:
No suggested features. I'm always open for suggestions, though.
RTSE Updates
LATEST CHANGES:
01/16/10:
Bug 8 - Recolor watchlist items to help identify what the item is.
This adds an option to RTSE to change the color of items in your watchlist, depending on what it is. (Group forum thread, regular forum thread, comments)
Eventually, I plan on letting the user specify what colors are used for each item, but I haven't quite figured out how to do that.
Bug 9 - Add option to RTSE options window for Watchlist everywhere
Adds a checkbox in RTSE's options window to enable/disable the "Watchlist Everywhere" feature.
Not a huge change, really, but at least you don't have to go into about:config to enable this one anymore.
Bug 10 - ATE jumps to top of browser window when a new tab is opened
Adds a function to be called every time a different tab is selected. If the tab is blank (eg, a newly opened tab), the function ensures that the ATE is hidden from view.
